NEW SHARON RENOVATIONS

In 2000 the Society of the Holy Child Jesus realized a major part of our earlier Master Plan for New Sharon, the order’s continuing care facility on a 19th century estate designed by T.P. Chandler. The original carriage house was adapted as an assisted living facility, a personal care unit was developed within the existing 20th century infirmary building, and a special care garden was created. The restoration of the carriage house exterior included complete wood window replacement and masonry repairs.
